"She had schedules prepared for us for our time there with planned meetings and did background information. I can't tell you how helpful that was for us.... especially since we both had full time jobs and couldn't find the time to coordinate these meetings ourselves.
She helped us create our budget and she kept it updated for us, she created payment schedules with all the vendors and kept a calender of all events including payment times. She helped us prioritize our needs and reminded us to keep to our budget when we were going over.
I think the most important part of her job for us was the week right before the wedding to the day after the wedding day. The week had been scheduled out for us, all our attendants (we had six [couples] and who were mostly flying in from all over the continent), our parents and everyone else who had responsibilities in the wedding. Everyone had their itineraries including maps to know where to go. By the day of the wedding, everyone knew what had to be done.
After the ceremony Claudia was at the site of the reception coordinating all the vendors and making sure the hotel staff had arranged everything to our plans. It was such a relief not to have to worry about all that stuff on our special day. My mom said that I was the least stressed out bride she had ever seen. We actually ate dinner and enjoyed seeing everybody during the reception."
